About these terms
These terms apply to work carried out by Matthew Anthony Sammut, trading as Resolved Pipe Relining (ABN 82 352 817 293), the relining side of Resolved Plumbing, NSW Fair Trading licence 348780C. When you accept a quote from us, you accept these terms.
Inspections and quotes
Drain camera inspections and quotes are free. A quote is based on what the camera shows and on the access available at the time we look.
If we find something that could not reasonably have been seen beforehand, such as a fully collapsed section or an unexpected junction, we will stop, tell you what we have found, and give you a revised price before doing any more. You are not committed to the extra work.
Pricing and payment
Relining is priced per metre of pipe plus access. The price in your written quote is the price you pay for the work described in that quote.
Payment terms, including any deposit and when the balance falls due, are agreed with you before the work starts and are set out in your quote. Matt will go through them with you when he books the job in.
Access to the property
You agree to give us safe access to the property and to the drainage access points we need to reach. If you are not the owner, you confirm you have the owner’s permission for the work to go ahead.
Excavation and reinstatement
Most relining is done without excavation. Occasionally a small access point is needed. Where that is the case we will tell you before we start and show you why.
Where excavation is needed, the excavation and the reinstatement of the surface are quoted separately and are not included in the relining price unless your quote says otherwise. We will give you that quote before any digging starts, and you are not committed to it.
Our guarantee
Relining carried out with epoxy resin carries a 35 year guarantee, and the relined pipe has a 50 year life expectancy. Relining carried out with silicate resin carries a shorter guarantee of 10 to 15 years. Your quote and invoice will say which resin was used.
The guarantee covers the section of pipe we relined. If that section fails within the guarantee period, call us and we will come back and put it right at no cost to you. It does not cover damage outside the relined section, or damage caused by someone else’s work, by tree removal, or by ground movement. If something like that happens, call Matt anyway and he will come out and look at it. To make a claim, call 0433 654 235 or email admin@resolvedplumbing.com.au with the property address and roughly when the work was done. The guarantee is given to the customer we carried out the work for.
Your rights under Australian Consumer Law
Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure, and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. Nothing in these terms limits those rights. The guarantee described above is in addition to them, not instead of them.
Cancelling or rescheduling
If you need to cancel or move a booked job, call Matt as early as you can on 0433 654 235. Any notice period or cancellation charge will have been agreed with you when the job was booked.
Liability
We are responsible for the work we carry out. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults in your drainage that we did not cause, or for damage arising from conditions we were not told about and could not reasonably have discovered during the inspection. Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.

Information on this site is general. Every drain is different, and nothing on this website is a quote, or a promise about what will happen on your particular job.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The courts of New South Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
